Summit Release Guidance
This page contains information and
links to short video clips that take you through the new
functionality available in the next version (1.4).
You will need Adobe Shockwave
Player installed and a good quality internet connection to view the
videos. The video links will open in a new window, which you
should maximise to get the best viewing experience and there isn't
any audio on these videos.
Viewing customer details and accessing their Action
Plan:
You will see the details and booking
record for each customer that is due to attend. This will
include their Customer Action Plan which we are now downloading
from DWP's IT system. Action Plans will appear in the Notes
section of the customer record and there will also be a quick link
that you can access from the customer booking. Click
here to access "Viewing the customer record and action plan" short
video
Recording attendance for customers not in Summit:
If
customers arrive to attend a course or support centre induction and
they are not already booked in Summit, you will be able to book
them onto that provision on the day. This will allow you to
include them in your attendance and course completion management
information. Click here to access "Adding a Walk In to a
course" short video
Changes to attendance tasks:
- Each task has a Red/Amber/Green
status to show whether it is overdue.
- For one day courses, you will need to actively confirm
attendance and objectives completed for each expected attendee,
rather than just picking those customers who did attend.
- Make sure you enter the details for any unbooked customers
first (as above) before you process your Capture Attendance
task.
- You can "Release" an attendance task which saves
whatever data you have entered already but doesn't submit it.
You can keep updating your task throughout the day, but don't
forget to submit it before you go to bed!

Management for modules" short video
Caseload Attendance Management for Support Centre and
Launchpad:
We planned to change the way you capture attendance for these types
of provision, but unfortunately our final testing didn't quite make
the grade, so we hope to introduce this in our next release.
Looking Back Report
The Looking Back report will show
new information for courses that run from 19th April. It now
has columns for Starts Provision, Ends Provision and how many
customers are On Programme.
